About robotaxistats

Passenger robotaxi fleets, cities, and miles in the U.S., from state records and company reports only, as of Oct 22, 2026.

What robotaxistats is

robotaxistats tracks passenger robotaxi services in the United States: where each service runs, how it runs (driverless, supervised or testing), and the fleet, ride and mileage figures each company or regulator publishes. It covers Waymo, Tesla, Zoox, May Mobility, Avride and Nuro.

How the data is built

Every figure comes from a state record (for example the Texas DMV registry, California DMV and CPUC filings, and Arizona TNC permits), a federal record (NHTSA), or the company’s own publication. Each figure carries its source and date. See the methodology and the public records list. The full dataset is /data/tracker.json, licensed CC BY 4.0.

Who runs it

robotaxistats is an independent tracker of U.S. passenger robotaxi services, built from primary sources such as company safety reports and state regulator filings.

Independence

robotaxistats is not endorsed by any state agency or company. It is independently run and receives no funding from any company it tracks. The site earns revenue from clearly labeled sponsored and referral links (for example, Tesla and Starlink); these never affect the data. See Advertise.
